THE INSTRUCTOR

CHRISTINA HENDRICKS An Instructor with a heart for horses and the people who ride them.

Beginning with a love of horses and nothing more, Christina started as a volunteer at Coffee Creek Riding Center for the Handicapped. Logging well over 500 volunteer hours, her love of teaching grew to a career. In 1992, she received her first teaching position at a local stable. Since then, her clientel has grown to instructing about 45 students weekly. Offering many facets to the youth and amateur rider, Christina also focuses on showing and competing regularly with about 10 horses and their fond cohorts. "I look so forward to the show season. I'm very lucky to be surrounded by dedicated riders and horses. My favorite event to train for is Hunter Under Saddle and Working Hunter. However, I must say that those all around horses and riders do keep life exciting and training varied." While maintaining the lesson and training program, Christina graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and B.S.certificates in Business Management, International Business and History. Since 1997 Christina has helped new and experienced horse owners sell and purchase horses. Accumulating transactions totaling over $350,000 and more than 30 horses. Christina recently chose to further her education and become a certified accredited member of the American Society of Equine Appraisers (#04405). See the appraiser page for more details.

Christina married her sweetheart, Chad Hendricks, on Valentines Day 2008.  They met 17 years earlier when they both were volunteers at Coffee Creek Riding Center for the Handicapped.  Chad & Christina live at Valentine Ranch.
